This lead to some stunning design pieces that became very sought after.
Jos De Mey:
10 februari 1928 - Gent, 22 december 2007, was a Belgian designer and artist that had an interior designing and furniture desiging company in the 50s and 60s. He his known for some black and white formica pieces but also for a few 1950s expo style pieces. Since 1968 he became active as a painter. Only a small amount of pieces where released by Jos De Mey and they do not come on the market very often. That is why this table, very much representing his style, is so important.
